In Uscita
In Uscita presents a sculptural and sound-based work created in collaboration between artists Sophia Leitenmayer and Cristina Rüesch (Whisper Whisper), alongside selected works from Sophia Leitenmayer’s series of archival objects, Index F.
The exhibition explores the polyphony of communication amid the continuous succession and supersession of media and mediums. Are there prostheses capable of helping us communicate in a hypermedia society? Perhaps only one channel remains, yet it is covered, concealed, or atrophied: the zero degree of the medium, now transparent, which seems no longer to be a message.
